The Sun is not Sunny Ring

The sun doesn’t look too happy. He’s not smiling, anyway. Maybe he has some things on his mind. His face is made of copper and the ring band is made of sterling silver. I created the sun using chasing and repousse techniques. In other words, I directly hammered the copper on front and back to create the raised design. Not too easy when it’s smaller than a penny.
